Occupational Therapist at Northern Health

Unfortunately for many Occupational Therapists, the biggest challenge of this role is explaining what they do. Fortunately for my future jobs, it meant I relied on strong, clear and compelling communication skills to deliver any intervention.

An Occupational Therapist is a professional problem solver. We work with clients and patients to help them engage in meaningful occupations.

Now, I can create a message that will appeal to anyone. Truly. These messages were crucial to ensuring my clients and patients would get back to work, into their community and stay out of hospital.

Occupational Therapists don’t usually write blog posts in their day-to-day so here is a photo of me working from home (writing a blog post).
